  • This website is HORRIBLE at making the distinction between type 1 and type 2. In fact I think I've only read one article here that did a good job a distinguishing between the two. As a 'news site' that is really deplorable.

  • Most, not all but most, children at 20 months go through a 'separation anxiety' phase. I would think it has nothing to do with this incident. My daughter has never been locked in an overhead bin but still freaks out when my husband or I try to leave the room - we were told it was normal.

  • When did it become proper decorum to bring firearms to a party? I live in Baltimore now and more often than not there will be a headline in the news about a shooting at a party. I didn't realize that instead of bringing a six pack to a party these days you need to bring an extra clip!

  • EXACTLY! I post a comment just like that every time a story about diabetes is covered by this site. It is very poor reporting. I realize that the two conditions share a common name but they are so very different they deserve the distinction!
